"The Silent Return"

Analog 135mm film photography
2019 - 2022 / Tehran

Amidst the daylight - a domain of consciousness and masculine logic - a quieter image emerges: an echo of feminine energy, long suppressed yet enduring.

Captured on color 35mm film across natural and domestic spaces, this series traces the silent flow of a primordial force, still alive within the collective psyche.

Through elements like water, mountains, sky, and city, a feminine presence surfaces — rooted not in action, but in being. The woman becomes a vessel: holding silence, chaos, and creation within.

Inspired by ancient archetypes such as Anahita and the water myths of Egypt, this work explores the thresholds between order and chaos, life and death.

It invites the viewer to witness what vanishes under too much light: the silent resurgence of feminine power, revealed in reflections, in broken vessels, and in the trembling of dusk.
